Model-Based Systems Engineer, Mid

As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll provide engineering technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation of complex systems. Your engineering support will ensure systems meet technical objectives as you work with a diverse team to make recommendations and advise on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts. You Have:

  • Experience solving complex systems engineering problems using standard methodologies

  • Ability to comprehend complex technical problems where capabilities are affected by technical achievability, affordability, and schedule

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) principles and toolsets

  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink

  • Experience investigating design, safety, maintenance, and operational issues with Naval systems

  • Knowledge of UML, SysML, DoDAF, and UAF

  • Secret clearance

  • OSCMP Model User Level 1 or OCUP Foundation Level 1 Certification
