Naval Manpower and Training Analyst

The Challenge:

You’ll develop and coordinate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) surface training plans to support the Navy client’s objectives. You’ll develop and manage cost, schedule, and performance and have regular interactions with the Navy and industry stakeholders to coordinate the acquisition, development, and implementation of training plans in support of the Navy client, including planning, communication, outreach, and foreign customer liaison support services. You will identify and create strategies supporting the successful delivery and introduction to service for a new surface combatant to design and develop surface ship training programs for international military students. You will help determine and refine requirements of the standards of training and certification for watchkeepers. You will also develop recommendations for whole ship curriculum and training schedule integration to minimize gaps in training and maximize student training pipeline output throughout the training program.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with the Navy or maritime force ships and shipboard training requirements
  • Experience with the Navy or other small combatants crew training for international students
  • Experience with procedures related to Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA), Front End Analyses (FEAs), and Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs) development and review
  • Knowledge of developing training according to Navy instructions, including Integrated Learning Environment Course Development and life cycle maintenance methods
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in working with foreign clients and export control and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) issues
  • Knowledge of security cooperation
