Naval Program Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Support a DoD client in acquisition and life cycle support for submarines and shipboard weapons systems and ordnance. Represent the government program manager at internal and external meetings. Support the areas of program management, DoD acquisition, systems engineering, and fleet support processes. Leverage strategic thought, written and verbal communication expertise, and prioritizing tasking to work with program office staff and operationalize the program manager's vision and goals. Support the program manager in the oversight and administration of a submarine program office.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with supporting Department of the Navy clients in program management and technical advising
  • 5+ years of experience in communicating, interacting, and working with senior-level government personnel
  • Experience with managing teams of 10-20 people
  • Experience with the full Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle
  • Active Secret clearance required
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • MA or MS degree preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification a plus

Clearance:
