OTI Business Operations Project Manager

Key Role:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program's Office of Technical Integration (OTI) as a Project Manager. Address changes to task and project details, schedule and resources, as well as new tasks and projects. Support the coordination and management of independent tasks and projects on an Integrated Master Schedule. Identify schedule risk and conduct critical path analysis. Coordinate with various members assigned to support OTI related tasks and provide information back to appropriate PMs. Set up and conduct meetings with appropriate task and project members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience with managing IT related projects
  • Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress
  • Experience with government consulting and advising senior clients
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Systems, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline or an additional 8 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
