Key Role:
Implement health and safety policies and procedures to meet organizational objectives and governmental regulations. Apply specific functional and general safety industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of more junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with developing and implementing safety programs and procedures, conducting Job Hazard Analyses, and evaluating working conditions and regulatory compliance
-Knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable industry safety standards
-Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections
-Active Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Safety
Additional Qualifications:
-MA or MS degree in Safety
-CSP or CIH Certification preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
