This role is more than just coding. We need an experienced Software Engineer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using Agile methodologies, modern languages and frameworks, cloud technologies, and microservice-based approaches, you'll work with the development team to build innovative, complex systems. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Join us as we build systems to change our clients for the better. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in development
  • 5+ years of experience in Pega and Pega Deployment Manager tool 
  • Experience with leading a deployment team 
  • Ability to build, deploy, and manage pipelines for all Pega applications for each seasonal release 
  • Ability to assist Dev leads with the creation of product files and their requirements 
  • Ability to host calls for teams deploying from DEV>TEST Pega environments 
  • Ability to support all pre-production and production releases and participate in and support Pega upgrades 
  • Ability to support build, test, and maintain API Integrations in Pega to MuleSoft, including SharePoint Online or Jenkins
  • Ability to create and validate Pega BIX data extracts for teams 
  • Ability to manage and have ownership of the base layer Pega applications, including FDAEnter, FDAUX, or CDRH
  • Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in federal government contracting
  • Ability to manage and have ownership of the Support Portal application 
  • Ability to support Okta Self-Registration of CCP users and invitation-based users, including CCP User Provisioning
  • Ability to manage the DMP and MDR import utility for weekly CDRH updates to internal users, access groups, organization units, and work groups 
  • Ability to support and fix production issues in Pega

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
