Pharmacy Expert

Key Role:

Lead technical consulting support to Science and Technology clientele. Lead all aspects of health-related contracts and serve as primary point of contact to health clients. Leverage knowledge and skills to provide ever increasing knowledge in the health science field. Supervise the activities of others. Apply advanced comprehension of the analysis process for performance, procedures, and processes of complex health systems to improve both efficiency and effectiveness and address priority operational challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as a senior management consultant in managed care pharmacy practice and Medicare Part B
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part B and pharmacy supply chain
  • Ability to manage a team, including budget and financial management and overall project management
  • PhD degree in Pharmacy
  • Valid Pharmacist License in any U.S. State

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with direct client engagement and management with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • Experience in quality measurement, quality improvement, and value-based payment models
  • Experience with various Medicare data sets, including claims data
  • Knowledge of historical Medicare Part B legislation and policy, including the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003
  • Completion of ASHP (PGY1) Managed Care Residency Certification
  • Completion of ASHP (PGY2) Health System Pharmacy Administration Certification
