Project Scheduler

Key Role:
Support the VA's Electronic Health Record Management (EHRM) project as a Project Scheduler. Utilize expertise in Microsoft Project in schedule development and management. Lead working sessions to develop a baseline integrated master schedule (IMS) with internal and external stakeholders. Support development of program level plans, guidelines, reports. Provide leadership and support to end users and process stakeholders concerning Schedule Management processes and guidelines and respond to requests as needed from staff and management. Monitor and report on schedule management performance across program and maintain procedures for reporting program status.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies 

  • Experience creating Project Schedules as a primary function

  • Ability to coordinate between multiple projects and consolidate multiple project schedules, define goals, objectives, deliverables, and associated timelines 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare IT, Data Analytics, or Project Management and 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment or 18+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with the VA

  • Experience with implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR)
