Radar Signatures Analyst

As a radar signatures analyst, you use your specialized technical expertise, briefing skills, curiosity, and your attention to detail to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. As a radar signatures analyst on our team, you’ll help your client by providing intelligence support to plans, operations, and exercises and illuminating threat trends and indicators through intelligence production and briefings. Using your comprehensive understanding of all-source intelligence analysis, IC tools, and databases, you’ll research and evaluate and deconflict classified reporting, finished intelligence, and other relevant data to assess the operational environment and meet IC and component organizations’ intelligence and information gaps. You'll leverage your expertise in all-source analysis techniques, methodologies, tools, and databases to inform senior policymakers and DoD officials of military capabilities, political-military issues, military strategies, and intent of the specified client area of responsibility (AOR). As an authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time critical analysis, often under pressure. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience as a radar operator or radar imagery analyst
• Experience with developing internal and external professional networks
• Experience with common office software including spreadsheets, word processing, presentation building
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• 4+ years of experience as a radar operator or radar imagery analyst
• Experience with the Air Route Surveillance Radar system version four and the Common Air Route Surveillance Radar
• Experience with DoD, Combatant Command, or Major IC organizations
• Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials
• Completion of a Military Service AFSC, MOS, NOS Granting Imagery Analysis Course

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
