Scientist, Senior

Key Role:

Lead the development of scientific and engineering support for a Navy client. Maintain responsibility for scientific and technical client delivery to support Navy clients in space sciences and systems engineering. Exploit personal technical support success to help build a Navy-focused science and engineering team.

 

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with system engineering related to spaceflight scientific instruments

-Experience with technical hardware and software development related to spaceflight instruments

-Knowledge of natural radiation and geophysical phenomena in the space environment and its impact to Navy operational needs

-Ability to formulate and execute technology development business strategies

-Top Secret clearance

-MS degree in EE

 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience working with supporting Navy leadership preferred

-Experience with the Naval research preferred

-Experience with military service, especially in the Navy preferred
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-PhD degree in Physics or EE

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
