Key Role:
Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities through the Splunk platform. Support onboarding, design, performance, implementation, and capacity of the Splunk platform. Coordinate work with in-house teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with cybersecurity or IT
2+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise
Knowledge of Linux or Windows environments
Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging
Knowledge of regular expressions and search queries, including Splunk queries in SPL
Ability to create dashboards for application and system monitoring
Ability to interact with customers on configuration and optimization in Splunk
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain Security+ Certification or IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire
Additional Qualifications:
Experience using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data
Experience with the data and software development life cycle
Knowledge of STIGs and vulnerability remediation
Splunk Administrator or Architect Certification
Network+ Certification
Clearance:
