Key Role:

Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities through the Splunk platform. Support onboarding, design, performance, implementation, and capacity of the Splunk platform. Coordinate work with in-house teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity or IT

• 2+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise

• Knowledge of Linux or Windows environments

• Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging

• Knowledge of regular expressions and search queries, including Splunk queries in SPL

• Ability to create dashboards for application and system monitoring

• Ability to interact with customers on configuration and optimization in Splunk 

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• Ability to obtain Security+ Certification or IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data 

• Experience with the data and software development life cycle

• Knowledge of STIGs and vulnerability remediation

• Splunk Administrator or Architect Certification

• Network+ Certification

Clearance:
