Key Role:
Work as a senior leader for Booz Allen’s Custom Electronics business and serve as a senior engineer lead within the Engineering and Science (E&S) team to lead the development of technical solutions for engineering opportunities across all markets, leading to the growth of the engineering business. Develop, socialize, and execute a robust business growth strategy, acting as firm-wide champion and a senior capability lead, reporting to a business principal. Engage and work closely with market-team peers and external clients to develop a pipeline and drive new business growth. Lead a team of diverse, deeply technical engineers in the successful delivery of high-quality prototyping, electronics, reverse-engineering, RF, and mechanical fabrication efforts while serving as program manager for all custom electronics efforts. Manage and mitigate technical, programmatic, and business risks and costs to targets. Challenge and improve the baseline business constantly and conceptualize and propose new capability ideas for future growth based on business and market demand. Maintain systems engineering relationships throughout the industry and academia.
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with engineering program management roles, including leading technically diverse, medium-sized teams to successful deliveries on complex electrical and mechanical engineering programs
-5+ years of experience with developing and executing business strategies to achieve successful, quality growth
-5+ years of experience with leading and growing a technically diverse team
-5+ years of experience with managing and mitigating technical, programmatic, and business risks
-Experience with client and industry relationships across the DoD, intelligence community (IC), or federal law enforcement
-Knowledge of the Booz Allen proposal process or equivalent processes from an equivalent federal government consulting firm
-Ability to build and leverage relationships with Booz Allen's Engineering and Science group market leaders in the firm and the federal government and industry
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including compelling writing and briefing
-Top Secret clearance
-MA or MS degree in Engineering
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
