Quality Administrator, Junior

Key Role:

Track and enforce asset and quality management for an engineering design and prototype lab. Act as a primary interface for ordering, creating orders in purchase application software, and getting quotes and approvals. Perform asset database management, tagging, tracking, disposition, audit, and process control support for Booz Allen and Government equipment. Act as a primary interface for shipping, and receiving equipment, assets and supplies for the office, including hardware, software, packaging, creating shipping Bill of Lading (BOL), checking for damage, checking contents against the order, and dispersing items. Provide support to the site Quality Advisor by helping ensure all site personnel conforms to firm Quality Policy, tracking team performance against Quality Goals, help identify areas for improvement and needs for additional local processes or forms. Maintain review and approval records and verify currency and configuration management of local processes and forms and ensure the standard processes remain compliant to the appropriate industry and client required standards. Verify that all appropriate personnel completes the training required for the functions that they perform. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience in a fast-paced hardware and software development environment
  • Experience with organizing and influencing technical staff
  • Experience with process or quality improvement, project management, or change management
  • Experience with organizing and managing time including meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and their practical application for hardware and software development
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma and 3+ years of experience with asset quality or Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience with asset quality

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience with self-initiative, responsiveness, and flexibility in responding to incidents
  • Experience with preparing, leading and facilitating meetings and improvement sessions
  • Experience with Sage and or Ivalua
  • Experience with Red Beam and Access databases
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence Community (IC) quality standards and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree
