F-35 Life Cycle Cost Analyst

The Challenge:

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create powerful change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be a challenge. That’s why we need you, a life cycle cost analyst who understands DoD policies, requirements, and tools for developing detailed cost estimates required to support key decisions within the requirements, planning, acquisition, operations, sustainment, affordability, and budget processes.

As a life cycle cost analyst on our team, you’ll conduct comprehensive analyses to estimate the total cost to the government of the programs over their full life cycle, including costs for research and development, testing, production, operations, maintenance, sustainment, upgrade, and disposal. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies governing economic analyses, you’ll help your client make develop well-informed decisions relative to effective and efficient life cycle management of the program. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with progressive cost analysis supporting major weapon systems procurement, operations, sustainment, and upgrade decisions

  • Knowledge of DoD, Air Force, or Navy polices governing life cycle cost analyses

  • Ability to leverage industry best practices and commercial software applications to develop accurate life cycle cost estimates

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience developing life cycle cost estimates for the F-35 program

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 115,000 to 125,000.
