Full Stack Engineer, Mid

The Opportunity: 

Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to build a system that will have a positive impact on the mission of a Space Force client?  As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We’re looking for a developer with an appetite to learn and the skills needed to build data processing and visualization applications from vision to production-ready system. 

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements. On our team, you’ll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches.

Using a variety of languages and tools, including Python, JavaScript, C++, and Splunk, you’ll work with the development team to build a wide range of tools to support processing and analysis of large data sets. You’ll help make sure the solution you’re developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with software development in a professional work environment
  • 2+ years of experience with software lifecycle principles
  • Knowledge of software project management tools, including Git, Jira, and Bitbucket
  • Ability to work with high throughput, multithreaded, and real-time data processing
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with data science, data analytics, or data visualization, including Splunk
  • Experience with object-oriented design principles
  • Experience with computer and network security
  • Experience with military communications systems, protocols, architectures, security, or waveforms
  • Experience with Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) software development
  • Experience with both Linux and Windows
  • Knowledge of computer network analysis
  • Ability to evaluate data processing methods, models, and algorithms

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
