We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to lead and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll share your strategic communications expertise to manage a team of junior employees and oversee the design, development, and production of a variety of internal and external communications products for an Intelligence Community client.

For this lead role, we are looking for someone who can think strategically about how to use communications to advance the client's mission and gain stakeholder acceptance of initiatives and changes. To be successful in this role, you must also have strong leadership skills, client relationship management skills, and an ability to prioritize work for yourself and your team, delegated effectively to meet short deadlines without sacrificing quality.

You'll manage a team of five junior employees in a fast-paced environment where short-fuse taskings must be completed alongside steady-state, regular communications. You'll write, edit, and oversee the production of executive communications, web copy, workforce messages, announcements, articles on new and ongoing initiatives, a weekly internal newsletter, status reports to senior organizational leadership, event promotion, and more. The team is also responsible for planning and executing a large-scale annual all-hands meeting and smaller, ad hoc events throughout the year. In your role, you will work closely with client leaders to bring their visions to life and find ways to get to "yes."

This job requires the ability to successfully manage workflows, schedules, and processes; mentor and motivate junior employees and nurture their professional growth; and become a trusted advisor to a high-energy client leadership team.
