Technical Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll develop leading-edge applications, websites, and products that promote user experience and solve complex client challenges. By partnering with your team of cross-functional experts, including developers, testers business analysts, data scientists, user experience specialists, and cloud engineers, and leading security and machine engineers, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to citizens and federal employees. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with requirements gathering, analysis, business analysis, and documentation techniques, including use cases, user stories, and process flows
Experience as a business analyst or Product Manager
Experience with Jira or Confluence
Experience with data analysis and of data modeling concepts
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with software development, including SQL or Python
Experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI or Tableau
Knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, to identify and resolve complex business issues
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Business Analysis, Product Management, or Agile Practices Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
