You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience with designing and implementing Splunk architecture and solutions tailored to business needs
  • 2+ years of experience with the development and maintenance of Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor system performance and security
  • ​2+ years of experience collaborating with IT and security teams to integrate Splunk with other systems and data sources
  • 1+ years of experience with troubleshooting web application support in authoring and maintaining technical documentation
  • 1+ experience with shell scripting or PowerShell and automation tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Splunk performance and data ingestion
  • Ability to conduct regular health checks and performance tuning of the Splunk environment
  • Ability to provide training and support to end-users on Splunk functionalities
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks
  • Experience with Splunk architecture, data ingestion, and search processing language (SPL)
  • Experience with IT operations, security information, and event management (SIEM) concepts
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
