Health Architect

Key Role:

Apply a broad understanding of the principles of computer and information science to the advancement of life sciences research, health professions education, public health, and care, including informatics, clinical informatics, and public health informatics. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of complex systems
• Knowledge of project management principles
• Ability to identify project risks
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, CS, or Engineering and 5+ years of experience with Health IT, or 13+ years of experience with Health IT in lieu of degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic health records
• Experience with Veterans Affairs

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
