The Opportunity:
As a Project Scheduling Specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, a Project Scheduling Specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of national aviation construction programs. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like Primavera P6 and regular interactions with clients and teammates.
This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the work plan is in place, you’ll maintain and provide an integrated master schedule (IMS) and lifecycle cost estimate (LCCE) to monitor and control projects through consistent tracking and communication with your clients, stakeholders, and teammates. This is your chance to use your skills in business planning, project management, and scheduling while furthering your planning and scheduling analysis experience.

You Have:
4+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Experience with business solutions, program or project management, planning, or scheduling
Experience with construction management
Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software
Knowledge of stakeholder processes and providing diplomatic solutions among stakeholders
Knowledge of the aviation industry
Ability to research and analyze information to present it through documentation and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with FAA Project Management Systems, including CWP
Experience with developing and managing requirements for large and small-scale projects, including monitoring contract performance
Experience with supporting the development of strategies and budgets that optimize statistical efficiency, including data analyses or data collection systems
Knowledge of airport terminal facilities, such as Airport Traffic Control Towers (ATCTs) and Terminal Radar Approach Controls (TRACONs)
Ability to adapt to multiple assignments and fast-changing circumstances
Master's degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
