Software Solutions Architect

You’ve developed so many organization-wide software architectures that you can not only orchestrate the best solution for any technical challenge, but you can also anticipate future concerns. That’s because you’re a software architect with a solid background in both development and solutioning in the signal realm. At Booz Allen, you can use your expertise in software, solutioning and Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) to improve the software technology supporting our EW Customers.

On our team, you'll translate your customer’s software needs and future goals into a plan by developing and implementing effective software architecture and solutioning. You’ll use the latest software control systems to design an effective software architecture. Your technical expertise will be vital as you lead solutioning to meet the needs of our clients.

With your advanced technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, you’ll guide and train a team of EW personnel that develops the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in development using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks

  • 3+ years of experience in electromagnetic warfare (EW) solutioning

  • Experience with software architecture and integration into a system solution and building and designing software architecture solutions

  • Experience leading a cross-functional delivery team and Agile software development team

  • Experience using Python, Docker, and microservice architectures and tools

  • Knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Windows

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with software-defined radios and RF techniques

  • Experience working with AI and ML tools, including deploying and utilizing existing models

  • Experience with enterprise cloud services

  • Experience with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL

  • Experience working on applications deployed via Kubernetes

  • Experience with JavaScript

  • Knowledge of “data mesh” concepts and tools

  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
