IBM Operational Decision Manager SME

Key Role:

Responsible for developing Business Rule solutions using IBM ODM software and Decision Server and Decision Center for interacting with business analysts and clients in finalizing and implementing requirements for various business process flows. Document, design, and work with the software manager and clients on refining the approach, configure the ODM tool in development and test environments, and create installation instructions for data center contractors to implement configuration changes in preproduction and production environments. Provide high-level training and support to other team members using the tool. Implement detailed rules following appropriate syntax and using standard vocabulary and validate rules against object and data models. Perform impact analysis for potential changes to rules from a technical perspective.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Operational Decision Management (ODM) or ILOG software

  • 2+ years of experience with Rule Studio, RTS, RES, RSO, DVS, or Decision Warehouse

  • 2+ years of experience with performing potential optimization and updates per rules

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with validating rules against object and data models

  • Experience with performing detailed testing and debugging

  • Master's degree

  • IBM ODM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
