Facility Civil Engineer

The Opportunity:

As a civil engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to ensuring our military’s testing facilities are prepared to support innovative technology. We are looking for a civil engineer who can use their skills to help modernize their facilities in compliance with local, state, and federal codes while supporting our country’s next generation of tactical weaponry.

You will use your engineering skills to transform DoD weapons testing. Our team supports the modernization of facilities, energy, and infrastructure to rise to the challenge of the changing landscape around weapons testing. That is why we need a civil engineer like you who is proficient at completing facility design services and supporting the review of designs for compliance with code and energetic manufacturing processes to help our client realize state-of-the-art facilities through construction and commissioning.

You Have: 

  • 7+ years of experience working in design in a professional environment
  • Experience reviewing facility designs for compliance with processes and permitting those designs through construction
  • Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), NFPA, ANSI, ASCE, and civil and environmental systems industry standards
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in engineering with MEP construction drawing sets 
  • Knowledge of civil and environmental compliance within an energetic manufacturing environment, including completing facility design services
  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineering Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
