SharePoint Administrator and Cloud Application Engineer

The Opportunity: 

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect on our team, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.

You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure, AWS, and Jira to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to grow your skills within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, and GCP labs, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll work with your team and stakeholders to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether helping to modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:  

  • 10+ years of experience with SharePoint administration, custom development, and architecture
  • Experience working with the backend, including patching and configurations on the servers
  • Experience working with SQL databases related to SharePoint Content Databases
  • Experience with SharePoint data migration and Microsoft domain changes  
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2016, 2019, and Subscription Edition, including administration and development such as SharePoint sites, sub-sites, libraries, and lists, and maintenance of SharePoint-based enterprise solutions
  • Experience with the migration, architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms
  • Ability to translate client, stakeholder, and end user’s needs and requirements, and recommend actionable solutions
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT II or III Certification

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience crafting custom Microsoft Power Platforms, including Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Power BI visualizations in Microsoft 365
  • Experience promoting knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems by strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information systems, and improving integration among information systems in the organization to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems
  • Knowledge of IIS and Windows Server
  • Ability to work with web development tools and languages such as JavaScript, HTML, or CSS

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
