Job Description
Key Role:
Design enterprise architecture (EA) to enable strategic or tactical transformations through informed decision-making at any level of an enterprise to support governance, future growth, adaptability, optimization, innovation, and modernization initiatives such as cloud or digital solutions. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with EA tools and modeling platforms
Experience with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or its successor, the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
Experience gathering and analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders across enterprise-wide initiatives
Experience with creating EA artifacts such as capability models, process maps, solution blueprints, and system interaction diagrams
Experience translating client requirements into a conceptual logical or solutions modelling
Experience capturing and leveraging architecture data in an architecture tool to provide decision support and impact analysis
Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and frameworks such as CAMEO
Ability to complement and enhance existing EA capabilities by identifying gaps, proposing scalable solutions, and integrating emerging technologies
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in an IT field and 4+ years of experience with EA or government IT, Bachelor's degree in an IT field and 6+ years of experience with EA or government IT, or 10+ years of experience with EA or government IT in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with EA tools such as CAMEO, Magic Draw, UNICOM System Architect, or Mega
Experience working with DoD Combatant Commands such as EUCOM or CENTCOM
Experience with business process reengineering, business process assessment, or business architectural development
Experience developing and delivering executive-level briefings
Knowledge of architecture at varying levels, including enterprise, segment, security, and solution architectures
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) or Associate Certified Enterprise Architect (ACEA) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
