Key Role:
Leverage operational submarine knowledge and experience to support NAVSEA submarine programs. Support critical and insightful leadership in developing strategies, plans, and documentation in the areas of program management, fleet support, installation planning and execution, engineering, and logistics products to assist clients with shaping and executing the long-term vision and success of the overall program. Coordinate with stakeholders across the NAVSEA program office spectrum, the Submarine Type Commander, and outside activities. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. Work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. Impact our country’s defense acquisition and contract process. Complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. Provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. Deliver meaningful acquisition support through creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and obtaining concurrence.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with Navy program management
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience preparing and providing briefings and reports for senior government or military officials
- Ability to be proactive and work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work well in an agile and collaborative work environment
- Ability to develop, document, and implement new processes
- Secret clearance
- Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience with submarines, or Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with submarines
Additional Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting a Navy Systems Program Office and Team Submarine
- 2+ years of experience interfacing or supporting a Submarine Type Commander or Submarine Squadron
- Experience working with various Navy Waterfront entities, including shipyards, installation teams, and regional maintenance facilities
- Knowledge of submarine installation and technology insertion hardware processes and practices
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of excellent team-oriented and team-building skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
