The Opportunity:
As a product manager at Booz Allen, you will have the unique opportunity to enhance the day-to-day experience of thousands of employees by ensuring the seamless operation of our SAP Concur Travel and Expense system. You will be the face of a system that is vitally important to both our employees and the business operations of the company. This role allows you to make strategic decisions, collaborate with functional and technical teams, and drive impactful changes that optimize our travel and expense processes.
Your primary responsibilities will center around leading the operational delivery and strategic enhancement of our SAP Concur Travel and Expense system. You will ensure its availability, functionality, performance, and security for over 37,000 employees. This includes collaborating with various functional stakeholders to solicit, scope, prioritize, and implement requirements for system enhancements. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the system, working with internal technical teams, functional teams, and industry vendors to resolve any issues and maintain its functionality. Over time, this role has the potential to expand beyond SAP Concur to include other systems in the finance, procurement, and supply chain functions. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
7+ years of experience with technical leadership or product ownership of an SAP Concur Travel and Expense implementation for a major corporation, including management of configuration, operations, and budget
3+ years of experience in Agile software delivery via Scrum or Kanban using tools such as Jira
Experience working with internal technical teams, functional teams, and software vendors in the travel and expense industry
Ability to develop and deliver strategic roadmaps and plan and execute product releases
Bachelor's degree
SAP Concur Certified Associate or Professional Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience in Employee Expenses, Accounts Payable, and Travel
Experience with other systems and vendors in the finance, procurement, and supply chain space
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to travel and expense management at a public company
Ability to mentor and develop team members
Possession of excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders at different levels of seniority within the organization
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
SAP Concur Implementation Partner (CIP) Certification
Project Management or Agile Product Ownership Certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, ICP-APO, CSPO, or PSPO Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
