The Opportunity:
As a contract manager, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your advanced contract management expertise to our Other Transaction team, where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable team member who finds creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company.
On our team, you’ll use your advanced contracting knowledge to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts within various markets. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies.
As a trusted business partner, you’ll provide full lifecycle support with a focus on terms and conditions negotiation, white paper and proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation for Other Transaction (OT) prototype and follow-on production contracts or agreements. You'll provide expert advice and counsel to account executives and their program leadership on contractual matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict of interest, risk management, mitigation, and intellectual property negotiations, and monitor operational performance. Additionally, you'll support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with contract administration
2+ years of experience executing Other Transactions, especially OTs for Prototypes and OTs transitioning into Production
Experience with the usage of Commercial Solutions Openings (CSO)
Experience in negotiations or proposal preparation supporting government or commercial
Knowledge of DoD Other Transaction Guide for Prototypes, contract concepts, and contract acquisition law and regulations
Ability to support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
Ability to draft non-routine contractual instruments and use independent judgment and creativity to resolve contractual issues
Ability to provide training to account teams on the unique characteristics of OTs and develop customer relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with DoD Software Acquisition Pathway
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
NCMA Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
