Nuclear Operations and Communications Analyst

Key Role:

Bring in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of service or joint missions, processes, and culture. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Provide technical advice for operations and day-to-day functional support of mobile command and control. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with mobile operations and maintenance of systems

  • 5+ years of experience with nuclear command and control and associated communications and computer systems, including MILSTAR, SACCS, DSCS, GBS, MUOS, AEHF, NAOC, ABNCP, or MCCC

  • Knowledge of formal program test and evaluation (T&E)

  • Knowledge of NC2 or NC3 architecture and systems of systems

  • Experience serving in a formal operations position on a NC3 Battle Staff

  • Experience with OPLAN or NC3 data analysis

  • Knowledge of performing NC2 operations and analytical support as part of a crisis action team or battle staff

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Government mobile operational activities for Technical Performance Evaluations (TPE), Staff Assistance Visits (SAV), Integrated Mission Area Training (IMAT), and communications

  • Ability to perform system and requirements analysis supporting NC3 operational community, including analysis of impacts on and from integrated external systems

  • Master’s degree

  • Department of Defense Test and Evaluation Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
