Military Aircraft Program Office Manpower Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a program office manpower analyst, you know that launching effective sustainment and operational readiness depends on timely, well-organized, and fully-coordinated manpower requirements. In this role, you’ll support key projects, coordinate with senior stakeholders, and enable operational effectiveness across the organization. That’s why we need you, a program office manpower analyst who can help ensure success through careful analysis and clear communication.

On our team, you’ll assist client program managers as the Site and Ship Activation Manpower point of contact within the client Program Office. You'll facilitate coordination across U.S. military services and participating countries, and update the program's Manpower Estimate (ME) in accordance with U.S. statutes and DoD and Service directives and policies. You will also quantify potential manpower savings provided by improved reliability and maintainability and through the introduction of advanced technologies. Additionally, you'll develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in military manpower analysis
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of military aviation life cycle logistics infrastructure and processes
  • Knowledge of requirements identification, proposal generation, statements of work, technical evaluations, contract negotiations, contract oversight, and performance evaluation
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Ability to gather and analyze a variety of program information concerning program progress and communicate recommendations verbally and in writing to higher organizational management effectively
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or life cycle logistics, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Logistics and 5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or life cycle logistics

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of DoD aircraft systems in aircraft maintenance, military logistics, program management, or military aviation
  • Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition and systems engineering required to plan, organize, and manage critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment
  • Knowledge of site surveys and activation planning for Department of Defense weapon systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
