Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Data Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Services performance.

As a member of the Continual Improvement Analytics Team, you will interface with leaders across the Delivery Hub to understand and consult on performance measurement needs. You will work with our Financial Operations team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Payroll, to develop and implement a FinOps reporting strategy. You will become a data expert across our FinOps team and develop data pipelines to support analysis, reports, and dashboards to help drive operational improvements. You may also provide support to other functional areas. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Work with finance team leaders to document, understand, and coordinate implementation of reporting requirements and performance measures that will support team operations.
  • Define, develop, and communicate analyses and tools to enable insight into finance team performance.
  • Become a finance data and process expert, enabling the ability to dive deep into systems and processes to propose continual improvement ideas.
  • Respond to requests for ad hoc analyses and reports.
  • Identify system and process changes that will improve accuracy and efficiency of metrics.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data mining, or data visualization
  • 2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining interactive data visualization with tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, or Payroll functions through data analysis
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of building data pipelines with ETL tools
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and how to appropriately apply them
  • Ability to develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to communicate data insights to business stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Databricks, SQL, Python, and Power BI
  • Experience with Costpoint, Ivalua, Concur and Service Now
  • Knowledge of audit compliance or government contracting compliance
  • Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner and translating data into actionable insights
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
