Here, you’ll advance your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and collaborate on a variety of internal and external communication materials and outreach opportunities to engage audiences.
As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical consultant to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You will work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You’ll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You’ll maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assist with the management of current programs, and facilitate commercialization of successfully developed technologies.
You'll serve as a Strategic Communications and Outreach Specialist, helping clients to develop stakeholder engagement strategies, prepare for and execute communications and outreach events, establish new business processes, and complete research and analysis to determine viable solutions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, facilitating engagements within and across the Agency, and be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving skill will enable the mission's success. This position is a hybrid role with Booz Allen. The candidate is expected to work onsite at a Booz Allen or client facility 20-50% of the time, as needed.
What You’ll Work On:
Develop effective communications products targeted to different technical and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate and execute engagement communications, logistics, scheduling, and strategic planning for outreach efforts.
Interact with clients, government officials, and other executives in various sectors.

You Have:
5+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement, outreach, or strategic communications
Experience with large event planning, special event planning support, and event execution, including technical conferences, strategic offsite events, executive meetings, technology demonstrations, and showcase events
Experience interacting and communicating with senior-level executives, including SES or GS-15
Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of outreach and communications tactics, including writing talking points and creating outreach materials such as fact sheets
Knowledge of basic graphic design skills
Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced start-up environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
