The Opportunity:

Are you ready to advance your expertise in systems assessment and authorization? Join our team as an Information Security Risk Specialist and leverage your experience with the Department of the Navy’s (DoN) Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. In this role, you will tackle complex cybersecurity challenges, interpret business rules and directives, and implement recommended security controls to protect mission-critical systems.

As a key member of our client's cybersecurity strategy, you will ensure portfolio compliance with Navy cybersecurity requirements. Your efforts will directly impact the client's mission by achieving and maintaining authorizations to operate.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience assessing and authorizing the cybersecurity of Navy systems using RMF
  • Knowledge of afloat USN platforms and their cybersecurity challenges and needs
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems
  • 8570.01M IAT Level II certification, such as Security+

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with USN combat systems
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification 

Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
