ServiceNow Communications and Training Specialist

The Opportunity: 

As a Communications and Training specialist on our team, you’ll support an enterprise ServiceNow implementation. You’ll be responsible for managing communications campaigns from end to end, which will include collaborating across functional teams to implement system or process-based solutions. You'll formulate training plans and activities to support our client's initiatives and develop, implement, and communicate strategies and key messages in clear and concise language using a variety of communication materials and media.  

You’ll enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications, knowledge base articles, navigate evolving communication processes, and establish best practice guidelines for communication and engagement. You'll shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to develop roll out strategies, focus groups, pilots, technology adoption campaigns, and other effective communication methods to meet program goals. You Have:   

  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise ServiceNow implementation communications

  • Experience with communications, technical writing, and training support for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

  • Experience with writing, editing, verbal communications, and communications planning while adhering to organizational approval and clearance processes 

  • Experience with technical documentation for systems, applications, and business processes 

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, public health analysts, or scientists 

  • Ability to independently draft communications about complex technical information with a set of stakeholders from business and technical organizations and provide accurate and timely advice, opinions, and recommendations

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree  

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience in strategic communications for IT system implementation planning  

  • Experience writing and editing material in a journalistic style for publication on workforce messages and newsletters 

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
