The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing, securing, and creating efficiency in critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done.

On our team, you’ll coach a development team to their highest performance level while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience as a scrum master

  • 6+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, including ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD

  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Experience removing impediments, driving continuous improvement, and aligning delivery to competing business priorities

  • Experience leading senior technical resources

  • Experience managing product backlogs in both Jira and ServiceNow

  • Ability to lead cross-functional Agile teams and multiple concurrent workstreams

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business field

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience supporting federal government or other large enterprise IT environments

  • Experience with program-level reporting, capacity planning, and risk management

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow architecture

  • Ability to partner effectively with solution architects

  • Ability to influence without authority, resolve conflicts, and plan strategically

  • Possession of excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • ITIL Foundation or ServiceNow Certification such as CSA or CIS Certification

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
