Supply Chain Management Intern

The Opportunity:

As a supply chain management intern, you are driven to understand how procurement, logistics, and supplier engagement come together to support complex client missions. We need a collaborative and analytical intern like you to help streamline and enhance our supply chain and procurement operations. On our Defense Technology Group and Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production (EMP) team, you’ll support evaluation and improvement of procurement workflows, forecasting methods, supplier interactions, and key performance indicators to help advance program objectives.

You won’t go at it alone. You’ll work alongside supply chain professionals, procurement analysts, engineers, and Lean Six Sigma practitioners to assist with market research, supplier evaluations, KPI tracking, documentation updates, forecasting exercises, workflow analysis, and process‑improvement activities. You’ll help prepare briefs, visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in program meetings that enhance supply chain effectiveness.

In this role, you’ll apply your curiosity and developing expertise in procurement, analytics, and operations to help assess current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support implementation of meaningful changes aligned to Booz Allen’s supply chain strategy. You’ll also gain exposure to Lean Six Sigma Green Belt concepts and learn how structured methodologies, such as DMAIC, are used to improve procurement and logistics performance.

Use your passion for supply chain excellence to support the development of resilient, data‑driven, and scalable supply chain capabilities that advance mission‑critical work.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • Experience working with data, process workflows, or supply chain projects

  • Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, such as procurement, forecasting, inventory, or supplier management

  • Ability to communicate clearly, manage tasks, and collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or Industrial Engineering field by Summer 2027

Nice If You Have:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
