With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government and military every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As a CI Specialist, you use your specialized regional and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop reports and to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect national security, and inform our nation’s leaders.

As a CI Specialist on our team, you’ll serve as a CI/HUMINT subject matter expert, monitoring and supporting operations. Using your comprehensive understanding of CI/HUMINT operations, you will support operational functions, including communications and reporting. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with little supervision while maintaining attention to a high level of detail to ensure transparent communication and task completion. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset in CI/HUMINT, intel mission management, and communication. You’ll share your expertise with others through leadership, mentoring, and collaboration. You Have: 

  • 8+ years of experience in CI/HUMINT 

  • Experience authoring, reviewing, and monitoring operational reports 

  • Experience coordinating and collaborating with CI/HUMINT stakeholders across the defense intelligence enterprise 

  • Knowledge of counterintelligence functions, including investigations and collection 

  • Knowledge of IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, techniques, and platforms

  • TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam 

  • Bachelor's degree 

Nice If You Have: 

  • 12+ years of experience in CI/HUMINT  

  • Experience as a CI specialist supporting CCMD or component organizations 

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with senior military and civilian officials 

  • Master's degree  

  • Completion of a DoD HUMINT Collection Course, CI Agent Course, or equivalent Collection Management Course 

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
