Job Description
Key Role:
Provide SME analysis to clients as part of a focused team reporting changes, trends and implications regarding design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Assist client in developing use cases and processes to routinely implement them as an expert in defense operations by determining procedures for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Deliver exercise design recommendations on resources available to meet unit training needs, and training benefit analysis to unit leaders planning and conducting training events with or without ground units involved. Support Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Planning Conferences, and training cadre to develop training exercises and scenarios based on unit requirements or Service developmental efforts. Assist in planning a total systems integration that involves all training systems and sites throughout the region. Support input, collection, and analysis of training data for use in defining future changes, upgrades, and planning. Analyze existing and emerging simulators and training devices available to the client to enhance training across the region. Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience working on technical projects or programs
- Knowledge of industry and DoD training environments, including key enablers for networked, distributed training
- Knowledge of Coalition and Multinational, Joint LVC, NCTE, ADVTE, LMOC, and distributed mission operations networks
- Ability to interact professionally with Military Aviators, air crew, and uniformed or Government Service personnel from Private to General Officer levels
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience operating simulation software such as NGTS, ASCOT, MACE, VBS 4, VRSG, ARMOR, or DIADS
- Experience planning and coordinating LVC events that involve multiple levels of security and partner nation warfighters
- Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
