As a Defense Mission Expert, you’ll bring your strategic and tactical expertise to work alongside thought leaders in science, software development, and Joint military operations on projects for multiple domains, services, and Combatant Commands. You’ll use your skills and expertise to directly engage warfighters on their mission to identify needs and support solutioning for training and development prioritization. Work with us to engage warfighters for operational environment education on adversary capabilities, Joint Force problem analysis, and Space Force service provided solutions.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a USAF or USN Air Battle Manager, USAF Bomber Air Crew, or USN Surface Warfare Officer
- 2+ years of experience at an Air Operations Center (AOC) or Maritime Operations Center (MOC)
- 2+ years of experience at a service component headquarters
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to brief a wide variety of defense audiences, including senior military, civilians, or contractors
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Graduate of a Service Staff School, including USA Command and General Staff College, USAF War College, or College of Naval Command and Staff
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Test and Evaluation (T&E) in Developmental and Operational Tests (DT/OT)
- Experience at a Joint or Coalition headquarters or operations center
- Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite, including Confluence and Jira
- Master’s degree
- Graduate of a Service Advanced Staff School, including School for Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS), Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS), or School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW)
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
