You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure, or AWS to design, define, develop, and test cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to build and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, and GCP labs, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our client's challenges, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with designing, implementing, deploying, and testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience managing networking within AWS, including IAM roles and policies, security groups, NACLs, and VPC
- Experience working with containerization such as orchestration, cluster management, and container storage, including ECS or Kubernetes
- Experience working with Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and DevSecOps practices
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Knowledge of programming languages, including Python, YML, and Shell Scripting
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS or IT
Nice If You Have:
- Experience facilitating connectivity between various cloud components and an On-Prem system with firewall Rules Requests, Security Group Rules, VPC Endpoints, and Subnets
- Experience migrating VM workloads from on-premises to AWS cloud environments using AWS Application Migration Services
- Experience applying a security-first approach to all cloud development, minimizing risk while providing cloud technology solutions to meet company, program, and customer compliance needs
- Ability to manage highly scalable and secured architectures, and develop applications optimized for cloud environments following AWS best practices and NIST 800-53 guidelines
- Ability to deploy and maintain CI/CD processes and infrastructure
- AWS Solution Architect or DevOps Engineer Professional Certification
- AWS Security or Advanced Networking Specialty Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
