The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create powerful change. This role supports an agency that funds transformational Energy research and development (R&D) programs at a rapid pace. Ensuring an organized, compliant, and fair source solicitation process is critical, and challenging, the team is seeking additional support to navigate the requirements, processes, and policies that govern these programs so we can make the most impact for our client and the world.
A strong candidate for the role of R&D Solicitation Program Management Specialist will be highly organized, have thorough attention to detail, be capable of independently managing their time, tasks, and priorities, and feel confident engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the agency. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality outputs on time and will interface directly with senior client stakeholders. You'll coordinate with a variety of staff, technical and operational project managers, and researchers that are leaders in their fields to ensure compliance and fairness in the source selection process. You will be a critical and visible part of the process to help achieve our client's goal of rapidly funding cutting-edge energy and climate technologies.
You will work with an existing team to support all aspects of the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) life cycle, including the development of NOFOs, recruitment and coordination of external merit reviewers, preparation of written reports and briefs that reflect the selection process, and coordination and facilitation of meetings. This team works closely with one another, balancing workloads and stepping in to assist with others' programs.

You Have:
2 + years of experience working directly with clients in a consulting role or direct support to high-level organization leadership
Experience with using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability, and be team-oriented
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
2+ years of experience with program and project support to the Federal, state, or local government or R&D-type organizations
Experience in an energy, climate, or sustainability organization
Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent time management skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
