Job Description
Key Role:
Provide operational, exercise, engagement planning, and Air Land Integration subject matter expert (SME) support to identify and integrate joint all domain command and control (JADC2) systems and capabilities for an Air Force client. Incorporate Joint, allied, and coalition land, air, space, and missile defense capabilities, enhance concurrent execution of the counter air framework, and fuse JADC2 defense systems into AOC operations, CRC operations, exercises, training, and education. Advise Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC)/Area Air Defense Commander (AADC) and supporting components on JADC2 capabilities and limitations, and apply operational functional area expertise on JADC2 operations integration. Provide expert recommendations and support, including operational implementation of JADC2 systems into new and existing C2 systems and architectures, theater- and regional-level exercise support, and analysis and recommendations during Operational Planning Teams. Leverage technical expertise and recommendations to leadership on operations, maintenance, and configuration of complex JADC2 Systems and how they interface with US, Allied, and Coalition systems and architectures. Capture assessments and after-action deliverables, including talking points and recommendations for the future of JADC2 as it relates to joint and partner nation operations and exercises.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with land, air, maritime, or integrated C2 operations and programs
- 3+ years of experience Advising and assisting Allied and Partner Nation Air, Naval, Marine and Special Forces (SF) Commanders in the areas of doctrine, training, leadership development, organizational development, logistics, and manning
- Experience with planning, scheduling and executing bi-lateral exercises, and identifying new engagement and security cooperation opportunities
- Experience with the Joint Planning Process (JPP), Joint Planning Process for Air (JPPA), or Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), and with exercise planning systems and tools
- Experience leading operational planning teams
- Experience with developing, writing, and articulating to senior military leaders’ multi-national exercise objectives, plans, and defense designs
- Experience with Component C2 system operations, Joint or combined military staff processes, Joint military planning, radar systems, data link architectures, Joint and combined command and control, and US government intelligence sources
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a MAJCOM or Component Staff
- Knowledge of allied and partner C2 systems, with and combined military plans, and exercise modeling and simulation
- Knowledge of DoD exercise planning, programming, and budgeting process and Joint requirements development and approval process
- Knowledge of European Theater of Operations (ETO) plans, exercises, and threats
- Master’s degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
