Job Description
Key Role:
Validate security controls, incident response, and data loss prevention through offensive security operations, including Red and Purple Team Engagements. Identify security gaps in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services and propose effective mitigation strategies. Prepare detailed and precise reports and presentations to communicate complex technical security findings to client stakeholders, including technical personnel, executive leadership, and legal advisors. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with penetration testing
Experience with cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, encryption, and logging
Ability to develop reports and accurately present findings
Ability to conduct organized security testing engagements with little assistance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with testing cloud-hosted solutions
Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Golang
Ability to operate in a fast-paced work environment
Possession of excellent team building skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Master's degree
Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification or other industry certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
