Job Description
Key Role:
Use your experience in clinical laboratory operations and management to advise clients on best practices for data collection, management, and analytics. Advise on program design using knowledge of the clinical laboratory data submission process and factors to be considered when setting reimbursement rates for the Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule. Help grow a team of clinical laboratory experts focused on CLIA and fee schedule policy and impacts on industry. Contribute to business development efforts by informing solution ideas and writing proposals. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and team members.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in clinical laboratory operations and management, including submitting clinical laboratory data
Experience submitting cost data to CMS via the Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule Data Collection Application
Experience with regulations and accreditation of laboratory operations, the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and fee schedule development processes
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in the supervision or management of a multi-faceted, high-volume clinical laboratory
Possession of highly effective interpersonal skills
Possession of strong oral and written communication skills
Master’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry
ASCP MT or MLT Certification or American Medical Technologists AMT CLS or AMT Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
