As a Maritime Fires Subject Matter Expert, you’ll bring your knowledge, experience, and expertise to work alongside thought leaders in Maritime Fires on projects for Joint and Service Commanders. You’ll use your technical skills and expertise to advise a team of fires experts and align Maritime Fires among the Navy and Marine Corps communities and for the Joint Force. 

Work with us to comprehend the current state of Maritime Fires across the globe and develop and implement a Program of Action and Milestones to synchronize the doctrine, training, and execution of Maritime Fires as part of a new Maritime Fires Executive Agency.

You Have:  

  • 15+ years of experience in the U.S.M.C.
  • Experience planning and coordinating fires across multiple echelons, including fires coordination and effects
  • Experience with AFATDS, CAC2S, or JADOCS, and targeting products, and sensor-to-shooter kill chains
  • Knowledge of USMC fire support operations, targeting, and fires coordination at operational and tactical levels
  • Knowledge of USMC joint fires doctrine, close air support (CAS), strike coordination and reconnaissance (SCAR), interdiction, and naval gunfire 
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience serving in a Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) or Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) 
  • Knowledge of USMC Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corps (DCMC) infrastructure, roles, and responsibilities in relation to fire support operations
  • Ability to mentor and train others in complex fires processes and doctrine
  • Ability to lead and communicate well with peers, and work across multiple teams and echelons
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of USMC Advanced Fires Courses or equivalent Professional Military Education Courses

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
