Job Description
Key Role:
Manage strategic IT projects and operations for the Business Systems Portfolio within ETSS, encompassing Booz Allen’s core enterprise applications, data platforms, analytics, and AI. Support the VP of Business Systems as a member of the Portfolio Management Team. Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, operational consistency, and the ability to translate ideas into action. Manage and administer the portfolio by maintaining product inventory, assisting with tracking our budget, and monitoring progress against key strategic initiatives and milestones, including system upgrades, transformations, cloud migrations, and corporate AI. Set the agenda and prepare for internal and external leadership briefings. Monitor portfolio progress, identify risks, and provide status updates and recommendations to senior leadership. Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, product owners, solution architects, and other portfolios within ETSS, to achieve portfolio goals. Reinforce a portfolio culture committed to operational excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Drive team engagement by organizing quarterly portfolio All Hands events, leadership briefings, and other engagement activities. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with IT portfolio and program management
Experience with establishing portfolio standards, monitoring progress, and implementing process improvements
Experience with agile delivery processes and tools, including JIRA
Experience with corporate communication, business storytelling, and change management
Experience with developing data visualizations and presentations for leadership
Knowledge of strategic portfolio management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development lifecycle
Ability to track multiple project plans concurrently, identify risks, and communicate status
Bachelor's degree

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Masters degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
