Cyber PKI Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Lead and provide subject matter expertise for a team that develops and deploys PKI certificate solutions to support information security aligning with organization security requirements and guidelines in on-premises and cloud environments. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise to resolve issues in PKI, including Red Hat Certificate System and EJBCA. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Migrate PKI solutions to cloud native technologies and develop hybrid PKI environments. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with deploying PKI solutions

  • Experience developing technical documentation

  • Experience with Ansible

  • Experience with Python, Perl, or Bash scripting languages

  • Experience with deploying and configuring Red Hat Certificate System, Dogtag PKI, EJBCA, or Linux-based PKI solution

  • Experience with Thales or Entrust Hardware Security Modules

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

  • DoD 8570-compliant Certification, including Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java programming

  • Experience with configuring security Java application servers and Web servers

  • Experience with AWS

  • Experience with Cloud Migrations

  • Experience with deploying Hybrid Solutions

  • Experience with ActivClient

  • Knowledge of the DoD PKI

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or IT

  • CISSP, CASP, or CCSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
