The Opportunity:  

Critical objectives for the USMC include providing seamless post-deployment software PKI support, managing hardware and software components that provide certificate validation support, supporting USMC, conducting RA operations, and providing PKI integration support for fielded systems and field technical support. This role entails providing 24x7 support worldwide from the garrison network out to deployed forces, both shipboard and ashore. This support is critical for certificate management, the security that PKI provides, and Tier III support for Public Key Enabling (PKE) networks and network resources. As new capabilities and derived credentials for CMDs are delivered, the implementation of these capabilities becomes a critical support task for USMC. You will significantly enhance our workforce knowledge with added training on capabilities, ensuring we provide the right skills in the right place to meet today’s challenges and achieve future operational success.

You Have: 

  • 1+ years of experience with network or system migrations, and systems or network security, auditing, and user authentication, including PKI or SAML
  • 1+ years of experience with Windows server administration and configuring and deploying Microsoft Group Policy Objects
  • 1+ years of experience monitoring server, network, and database performance and latency
  • 1+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Windows or Linux
  • Experience with using security tools and methodologies, including Splunk, Solar Winds, ACAS, or Zero Trust Strategies
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570 Compliance IAT Category Level II Certification, including Security+, and an Operating System Certification

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with VMware vCloud Director
  • Experience with analyzing data across systems to improve design-making and optimize performance
  • Experience with drafting and updating technical stakeholder requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes
  • Experienced in supporting and configuring applications running on Azure cloud servers
  • Ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
