What You’ll Do:
As a business analytics specialist on our team, you’ll:
- Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools to streamline and automate grantee reporting.
- Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data through SQL, R, and more.
- Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
- Analyze and process data, while contributing to the development of models and report templates and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions using Tableau.
- Recommend and implement appropriate performance measures to be produced, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
- Provide guidance to fellow team members.
- Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for grants management.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with research and data analysis and visualization
- Experience with criminal justice research that supports tracking performance against grant outcomes
- Experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation
- Experience with data analysis and software projects such as Tableau and Excel
- Ability to create presentations and visualizations to share insights into data
- Ability to present insights to clients
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Data Analytics or Business Analytics field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience conducting research and performing data analytics to support justice and law enforcement missions focused on improving grant program outcomes
- Experience with data collection and analysis for juvenile justice program reporting
- Experience supporting the design and implementation of methods to monitor, evaluate, forecast, and report grant progress
- Experience conducting statistical and qualitative analyses, ensuring data quality and integrity prior to integration into reports and dashboards
- Experience applying business analysis, process improvement, and communication to identify challenges and recommend solutions
- Ability to collect, cleanse, analyze, and visualize data using tools such as Tableau and other business intelligence platforms
- Ability to develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
- Possession of strong communication and presentation skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
