Job Description
Key Role:
Architects, develops, and operationalizes software solutions and systems that perform cyber data analytics at scale in a variety of technology platforms. Applies specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. May review or guide the activities of more junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience developing software solutions in secure or mission-critical environments
Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, or Go
Experience building, testing, and deploying software within Linux or Windows environments
Experience with secure coding principles, static or dynamic code analysis, and vulnerability remediation
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated build tools
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, APIs, and data structures
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD 8140 Level II Certification, such as Security+, CySA+, or CISSP Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience developing software for cyber defense, cyber tools, or automated detection or enrichment workflows
Experience with automated testing frameworks, fuzzing, or exploit mitigation techniques
Experience with DevSecOps environments, containerization, and cloud platforms
Experience with microservices architectures and high-performance distributed systems
Experience integrating security controls, threat intelligence feeds, or cyber telemetry into software capabilities
Knowledge of secure architectures and compliance requirements
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, identity management, API security, or encryption standards
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
AWS Developer, Azure Developer, CEH, or other relevant vendor certifications
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
